Julia Delaney

The protagonist. As an Afro-Latina woman and young professional, Julia tries to portray the “good, respectable, well-spoken” minority in order to fit into an oppressive society. She helps uphold the status quo while believing that she’s an ally for the disenfranchised.

Actor Biography: A budding actress, NoWa Clark made her debut into the world of Acting in 2018 where she landed her first role in the comic adventure “Black Magic For White Boys” - a feature about the dark side of gentrification - streaming now on major platforms. Since then, Nowa has developed an addiction for storytelling, landing several lead roles in Indie dramatic and fantasy genres. Her latest film/tv credits include Memory (short film) as Britt (Lead) and Cedri & Alysia (fantasy miniseries) as Hanne (Lead). With every project she dares to discover more about human experience in a collaborative and artistic way and continues to develop her instrument through training.


The Witch

The primary antagonist. Through dark magic and cannibalism, The Witch sustains herself beyond regular human years; however, this leaves her cruel, animalistic, and vicious.

Actor Biography: Adra Mayer is an actress based out of NYC, recently graduating from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy for Acting. She recently worked on features, short films, and musicals including Antlers, Stand Up, Players, and Hoseki The Musical. She has worked with amazing directors such as Kate Kim, Gustaf Bjorn, and Takunda Kramer. Her work also includes commercial work with OPPO. She is excited to be joining the My Silence, My Grave team and can’t wait for what's in store!


Zhen Warner

A young Asian sex-worker and tenant in Julia’s apartment. As an outspoken critic of the landlord and society at large, Zhen has a turbulent relationship with Julia. Zhen regularly enjoys giving Julia grief because Julia works for the landlord and “the system”.

Actor Biography: Cindy Xu is a Canadian actor, mover, and musician based in New York City. She’s a recent graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Drama and a minor in Psychology. Cindy trained at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting, and at the Stonestreet Screen-Acting & Production Studio. In the past year, she studied abroad in Berlin, with NYU’s Stanislavski, Brecht, and Beyond: An Integrated Approach to Actor Training program. Her collaboration with world-renowned faculty from Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts, the Berlin University of the Arts, and the Schaubühne has informed much of her creative artistry. She also runs the artistic collective, Lighthouse Ladies, as a Co-Founder and Co-Producer.


Alejandro Castellanos

An older Hispanic gay man who lives in extreme poverty in Julia’s apartment. Although living a hard life, Alejandro makes do with what he has, finding the little joys in life and projecting happiness into the world around him.

Actor Biography: Andreas Pliatsikas moved to the US from Greece at the age of 21 to study theater. He has performed in several NYC stage productions including Adonis Memories as The Poet, The Gates as Victor, Suppliants as Adrastus, Caligula as Gaetelicus, A Death Well Died as Jean Chevalier, Lilies or The Revival Of A Romantic Drama as Bishop Jean Bilodeau, and has also appeared on stage at the Metropolitan Opera. Notable TV/Film credits include The Christmas Lottery as Gustavo Castillo, The Food That Built America as Rene Arend, Golden as Norman, Maybe Tomorrow as Reggie, and Far From The Tree as Jasper. His studies include the National Shakespeare Conservatory (NSC), the American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA), and the HB Studio (HBS). He continues to refine his art with continuous private acting coaching with Amy Weinstein.


Jeffery Franklin

An abusive landlord who exploits the labor of his tenants to maximize his profits and ensure he lives an extremely wealthy lifestyle. He won’t hesitate to use the local police to intimidate and coerce the tenants to bend to his will.

Actor Biography: Raised in the outskirts of Atlanta, Georgia, Josh Erdman has spent much of his life in NYC punctuated by time back in Atlanta and in East Asia. He’s been acting since he was a child in commercials, plays and independent films. He has a fine arts degree from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Edinburgh Napier University via Hong Kong University. He currently lives with his Husband in Queens, NY.


The Apparition

A prior victim of a ritual sacrifice, conjured by dark magic to serve as Malika’s slave. Not much is known about him.

Actor Biography: Simbal Karma born in America, spiced in India. Recently, took his first baby step into the unreal reality world of acting as Max Turner (Lead) in SOLO: A Coronavirus Story (Written and Directed by Simbal Karma) 2020. He has also been awarded “Best Actor in a Drama” (Best actor awards, NY) 2020. He is a DJ/Music Producer and a Song writer which has given him the opportunity to travel around the globe, keeping his artistic vision open to study and connect with people of all kinds, religions, shades of colors and sizes. Simbal Karma has always desired the superpower to shape-shift as a young kid. Through acting he has found the true medium to craft his art and superpower and bring it to existence. He believes Drama & Comedy are the two grand emotions that dwell inside him and vibrates with his own personal day to day life. He is on a committed mission of a lifetime and is open to portray all other genres and offer them an idiosyncratic touch of his own.
