Anna Maués

Anna Maués is a Brazilian director, screenwriter, and producer who graduated from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro majoring in Radio, Television, and Film in 2011. For over six years, she worked for GNT, Mais Globosat, and VIVA, three major channels at Globosat, the pay-tv branch of Globo Studios, one of the largest TV conglomerates in the world. Now, based out of New York, she is best known for her work in independent movies and TV series, including the celebrated super short Shadow, the award-winning script for the TV series Heritage and the Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival semi-finalist Life In Covid. She has also worked as an assistant director and associate producer on several movies and TV shows.
